Frequently Asked Questions

    Sessions:

  1. Are makeup sessions allowed?

    2. If you wish to organise a makeup session please email or phone NC Swim to discuss session availability as we wish to avoid overcrowding in sessions.

  2. Can I swap my sessions?

    3. Sessions may be swapped on a casual or permanent basis when there is availability in the requested session. You will need to contact NC Swim to facilitate a swap.

  3. Are squads conducted during school holidays?

    4. Squads continue throughout school holidays but are not conducted on public holidays. A revised program will be in place during the Christmas New Year period all squad members will be advised in advance.

    Assessments:

  4. When are re-assessments conducted?

    5. The swimmers are constantly being reassessed and movement between squad levels will take place at the discretion of the coaching staff. You will be notified by a staff member so that your child can be booked into session times for their new squad.

  5. Do new swimmers need to be assessed?

    6. Please ring or email NC Swim to discuss the need for an assessment. When an assessment is required they are conducted between 3.30 and 4.00pm Monday to Friday.

  6. My child has been absent for a week or more due to illness can I get a refund or credit?

    7. We have a no refund policy BUT credits will be given at the discretion of NC Swim so please contact us to discuss the situation. You maybe asked to provide a medical certificate.

  7. Do you offer partial fees when a child is going to be absent for holidays?

    8. Yes we will charge partial fees with the minimum fee being half a month and your session bookings will be held. To allow this to happen please notify NC Swim in advance so your invoice/s will reflect the payment due. If you intend to be absent for more than 2 weeks and you choose NOT to pay the minimum fee we cannot guarantee to hold your session bookings.

  8. What are the fees if my child is only going to do 1 session a week?

    9. The full monthly squad fee applies regardless of how many of the allowed number of sessions you choose to attend.

  9. How will I know when fees are due and how much to pay?

    10. By providing NC Swim with your Email address when you register you will be sent an invoice for each swimmer at the commencement of each month. Payment is then due within 7 days.

  10. How do I pay my fees?

    11. There are several options available:

    1. Direct Transfer to our bank account. The details for doing this will be on your monthly invoice.
    2. EFTPOS or credit card at the pool during squad times.
    3. Cash or Cheque can be paid at the pool during squad times. Please make cheques payable to NC Swim

  11. I am attending the Masters squad can I prepay my sessions?

    12. You may purchase a pre-paid swim card for $80 that allows you to attend 10 sessions. These are available at the pool before your Masters’ session then simply have it punched each time you swim.
